If you’ve been to your local Sephora recently, you may have noticed the explosion of eyeshadow palettes from many of your favorites brands! Spring trend alert! The interesting thing that I noticed is that the vast majority of the gorgeous palettes that caught my eye are anything but springy. Think sumptuous jewel tones, dusky pinks and purples, electric greens, blues, and yellows, and MAJOR glitter! It may sound funky, but take a look at the mouthwatering offerings on the market! If you don’t believe me, listen to palette guru, Bob Ross.
Fun Fact: This palette is infused with real gold and cocoa powder! Truly fit for a queen.
NARS NARSissst Wanted Eyeshadow II | $59
Fun Fact: I can’t even find a link for this on Sephora’s or NARS’ website! This is part of their limited edition #NARSisst collection.
Fun Fact: This limited edition palette was inspired by, you guessed it, the ocean! Fabulous shadow names include Abalone, Mermaid Pearl and Spirit Quartz.
Fun Fact: This palette contains both metallic as well as matte shades inspired by grunge and underground culture.
Fun Fact: Arguably a “springier” palette than the rest, it still packs a punch with some glitter and darker shades. Hence, the drama.
Fun Fact: This brand is famous for their eyeshadow palettes, but this is the first that offers the extra warmth that seems to be en vogue at the moment!
Fun Fact: Too Faced is killing it with these palettes! How beautiful is this? These shadows are infused with peach and sweet fig cream.
Fun Fact: This is another more low-key springy color scheme and I would highly recommend considering this for a starter palette if you’ve never bought one before.
Fun Fact: Famous makeup artist, Pat McGrath’s makeup line is relatively newer and is now available in stores at Sephora, praise the lord!
Fun Fact: This may be my personal favorite. The disco glitter and wild colors are fresh, offbeat, fun and vivid (like yours truly).
Fun Fact: Last but not least! This to me is the quintessential example of what’s trending. Rich, glittery jewel toned colors giving me full Princess Jasmine fantasy!
