Sweet November: A Walk in Lincoln Park

Hello! I started my Saturday morning around 8am preparing for a walk, as opposed to my usual Bodypump class. I did this for two reasons. One, I’ve had another mini neck strain that requires lower key exercise, and two, time is running out before the leaves all fall. Luckily, it is such a beautiful day so not only did I get over four miles in, I got a number of really pretty pictures that required absolutely no filter. My path took me through Cannon Drive, cutting over to the lakeside trail at Fullerton, up to Barry then back around to Diversey. Take a look!

Just right of Diversey Harbor. Even before 9am, there were dozens of runners and cyclists on the trail.
I love fall leaves! It’s one of the only dead thing that smells pleasingly fragrant and feels good under your feet.
A small farmer’s market outside of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.
Approaching the lake…
Lakefront trail. Beautiful blue skies!

The Chicago skyline!
One of the most peaceful spots in the city, in my opinion. My shadow is peeking out from the corner!
Glorious!
Hello, shadow!
Headed back home.
Beautiful colors!

Hope you enjoyed the photographic journey of my walk! Get out there and enjoy the fall colors before it’s too late! Take care of yourselves (and your necks).
